The fundraiser is set to take place across Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May and incorporates two events, Strictly Rowcroft and the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge where collectively the firm are hoping to raise a grand total of £6,500.

Kitson Boyce announced their headline sponsorship of Strictly Rowcroft earlier this year where they look forward to cheering on Cheryl Baxter, Partner as she takes to the stage at the Princess Theatre, Torquay and competes with her dance partner, Ant in the hopes of bringing home the glitterball trophy.

But the Firm wanted to go one step further, quite literally…

Across Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May over 20 members of the Kitson Boyce team including Partners Jenna Hamilton-Pursglove, Matthew Bryant, Tony Hunt and Patrick Gaskins will be taking to the Jurassic Coast, trekking between 50-100km along the Dorset coastline.

A gruelling challenge with steep inclines and a lengthy route, certainly not for the faint hearted.  Tony McDowell, IT Support Assistant co organised the event and foresaw an opportunity to bring the firm’s people together and, in the process, raise money for a well worthy cause enabling them to do right together.

Commenting on this, Tony said: “We would be lying if we said it’s not going to be tough, but as a Firm we believe in our people and as long as we channel our true KB spirit in supporting and encouraging each other we are sure to be successful.”

Rowcroft Hospice is a charity close to many hearts within the local community in Torbay and surrounding areas, providing support to adults living with life-limiting illnesses.

Rhodri Davey, Managing Partner at Kitson Boyce explained why Rowcroft Hospice was chosen as the designated charity, commenting: “We pride ourselves on putting people first, there’s a collective desire and dedication to support our local communities amongst our people and Rowcroft touches the hearts of many within our Firm and beyond.

He adds: “The outstanding care and compassion Rowcroft provide is truly remarkable, invaluable in fact. This is our way of showing appreciation and giving back to them, ensuring they can continue to make that difference for many years to come.”

Alison Upton, Philanthropy Manager at Rowcroft Hospice commented: “We are thrilled to have the support of Kitson Boyce this year.  It will make such a difference enabling Rowcroft to be there for patients across South Devon when they need us the most.   We would like to thank all the members of the team who are putting in so much training and going outside of their comfort zone to raise money for Rowcroft.”
