Makeover at Minerva House Completed

Award-winning Devon law firm Kitson Boyce has completed a series of upgrades to its Torquay office as part of its continuous improvement plan for its offices across Devon.

The firm has invested a significant six figure sum over the past 12 months on Minerva House where it occupies 893.7 square metres with around 100 lawyers and professional support staff. The changes will improve client experience, the workplace environment, and the surrounding realm at Edginswell Park.

Internal improvements include the installation of LED lighting, improved air conditioning and air quality, along with decoration of client meeting rooms.

Kitson Boyce has worked closely with its landlord on the installation of solar PV panels, upgraded roof lightning protection and full external redecoration. The exterior work has also included planting of new trees and landscaping.

The team at Kitson Boyce worked closely with professionals Maze Consulting, Kirkham Board, Devon Roofing & Cladding, Kneebone Trees, Sun Gift Solar, Westcountry Grounds Maintenance, and Western Lightning Limited to successfully deliver the project.

Commenting on the investment, Managing Partner Rhodri Davey said:

“We are always looking to provide an environment where our clients can feel relaxed and our lawyers can be at their best so we are really pleased to have concluded this project.  I’d like to thank all of the team involved in its planning and execution which wasn’t easy whilst we continued to be fully operational.”

The firm has also specified and procured a complete renewal of laptops and desktop technology for all staff across Torquay, Exeter and Plymouth which will be rolled out by the end of the year.
