Kitson Boyce Completes The Sale Of Silverton House

Award-winning law firm Kitson Boyce is pleased to announce that the Commercial Property team have completed the sale of Silverton House in Chudleigh, Devon.

Silverton House is a 2,600 sq ft commercial property set in half an acre of land with a large car park and yard space. The site had been occupied by Bridge Civil Engineering before the company recently moved into the Bridge Innovation Centre in Chudleigh. Going forward, the site will be occupied by Westcountry Maintenance Services, who plan to invest in the site and establish it as their South Devon hub.

The Commercial Property lawyers at Kitson Boyce advised on all issues relating to the conveyancing of the site and worked alongside Charles Darrow, the commercial property agents who are based in Newton Abbot.

Commenting on the news, Cheryl Baxter, Partner and Head of Commercial Property at Kitson Boyce said:

“We have been involved with this property before, having handled the deal when it was last sold. As a result, it’s nice to be able to return to the site and take a key role in it being transferred to the new owner. It’s good to see regional businesses expanding but staying local while the sites they leave behind are taken on by other businesses looking to do well in the same way. It proves that the local economy is alive and well and that we here at Kitson Boyce continue to play our part in that.”
