Kitson Boyce Announce Raising Over £8,000 for Rowcroft Hospice

Leading Devon law firm, Kitson Boyce raise over £8,000 for Rowcroft Hospice across their ‘Big Rowcroft’ Weekend initiatives.

The firm pledged to raise £6,500 collectively across two events, Strictly Rowcroft and the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge.

Strictly Rowcroft saw Cheryl Baxter, Partner and Head of Commercial Property light up the Princess Theatre stage and be awarded three 10s from the judges earning top marks for one of her performances with dance partner, Ant Moorhouse.

Meanwhile, over 20 members of the Kitson Boyce team trekked between 50 and 100kms along the Dorset coastline in two days showcasing true grit, determination and team spirit to get across the finish line.

Rhodri Davey, Managing Partner said: “Raising this astonishing amount for Rowcroft Hospice is a true testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of so many of the Kitson Boyce team. A direct reflection of not only our commitment to our community but also the powerful impact we can have when we come together for a great cause because we care about making a difference.”

Rowcroft Hospice is a charity close to many hearts within the local community in Torbay and surrounding areas, providing support to adults living with life-limiting illnesses.

Commenting on the impact, Lisa Whittaker, Corporate Fundraiser at Rowcroft Hospice said:

“It has been our absolute pleasure to work with Kitson Boyce and support them in raising over £8,000. They have really thrown themselves into a range of activities from Cheryl participating in Strictly Rowcroft, to a team walking the Jurassic coast path, to organising a quiz night and even hosting a pig racing event! Raising over £8,000 could fund the care of four patients to be supported by Rowcroft’s Hospice at Home service, enabling them to spend their final days in the comfort and peace of their own home, surrounded by loved ones. Thank you so much to everyone involved in raising this sum of money.”
