Kitson Boyce Sponsor England Ladies Angling Team
The Angling Trust England Women’s team’s quest to take World Championships gold in Spain this Summer has received a welcome boost with the backing of law firm Kitson Boyce.
The Devon-based company – celebrating their 200th anniversary in 2026 – have boosted the team’s fighting fund ahead of the big match in Valencia later this month and will help with travel and on the bank expenses.
“Supporting the England Ladies Angling Team at the World Championships in Spain is a natural extension of our commitment to promoting opportunity, inclusion and excellence in women’s sport.
“We believe that talented athletes deserve the backing they need to compete at the highest level, and we are proud to contribute to that ambition,” said Kitson Boyce Managing Parter Rhodri Davey.
“This sponsorship also has a special significance for our business, with the daughter of one of our colleagues selected to represent England. Seeing first-hand the dedication required to reach this level of competition makes us especially proud to support the team’s journey.”
“We wish the squad the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating their achievements on the international stage.”
Manager Dave Brooks has selected a strong line up of anglers once again this year, mixing World and National champions in a talent-packed squad.
The 2026 England Ladies squad consists of World Champions Samantha Sim and Helen Dagnall, newly crowned Carp World Champion Kayleigh Dowd plus experienced internationals Chloe Raynor and Sarah Taylor. To gain valuable knowledge at World level, Dave has also selected young stars Elle Pedrick and Lauren Stevens to be part of the squad.
“This is a much needed and brilliant sponsorship as it gets harder and harder each year to find backing for what is an expensive event,” said Dave.
“It’s fantastic to have Kitson Boyce on board, as every single pound makes such a difference. Sponsorships and partnerships mean we can stop watching the pennies and focus 100 per cent on the fishing. We’ll be wearing their colours over in Spain on Lake Bellus and going all out for gold medals.”
* The 2026 Women’s World Championships takes place on Lake Bellus near Valencia from Thursday August 20th until Saturday August 22nd.
