Kitson Boyce Announces Fundraiser in aid of Pete’s Dragons!
After successfully taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge last year which raised over £5,000 for Plymouth Hospitals Charity, we’re dusting off our walking boots and are excited to announce our Templer Way walk fundraiser!
On Saturday 11th May, 25 members of our staff will be taking on the 18 mile trek in aid of raising vital funds for Pete’s Dragon charity. The walk links Haytor on Dartmoor with Teignmouth and covers a wide range of scenery.
Pete’s Dragons provides comfort to families and loved ones who have experienced suicide loss. The charity are a team that have experienced the aftermath first-hand and worked together to ensure that all those impacted by suicide in Devon and North Somerset have access to timely and appropriate support.
Commenting on the fundraiser, Sophie Carruthers, Conveyancing Executive (GCILEx) and organiser of the fundraiser said: “We are extremely proud to be raising funds for such a worthwhile charity, which has a personal connection to our Firm. I am personally excited to get stuck in to some more walking after last year’s challenge and I’m sure my colleagues are too!”
