The new traditional American style, grill restaurant, will open later this summer at the Barbican Leisure Park alongside the Vue Cinema and will be a 4,000sqft, 250 cover outlet serving breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. Fry’s Grillhouse will also be one of few restaurants in Plymouth capable of seating pre-booked, large-scale parties.

Kitson Boyce, advised on all issues relating to the new lease of the restaurant and once the deal was signed, it triggered a busy period for owner Jack Fry as he looks to get the site open by late summer 2025.

The launch of Fry’s Grillhouse will see Jack expand his portfolio of pubs and restaurants which includes The Odd Wheel, The Plymstock Inn and The Fort Inn.

Jack Fry, of Grill Houses (SW) Limited said: “We’re really excited to launch this new brand concept at the Barbican Leisure Park. Our food is based on a typical American grillhouse but with our own twist. We’ll also be installing a state of the art sound system for live artists, bands and DJ’s so the atmosphere will be unique in the market. I’d like to say a big thank you to Matt Bryant and his team for helping us get the deal over the line.”
